Fecunda ("App," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with our iOS application.

3.1 Task Data (Stored Locally Only)

All task and priority data you create in Fecunda is stored exclusively on your device. This includes:

  • Task titles and descriptions
  • Due dates and priority levels
  • Categories and tags
  • Any notes or custom fields you add

We do not have access to your task data. It never leaves your device or gets transmitted to our servers.

3.2 Analytics Data

We use Apple Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve performance. This may include:

  • Device type and iOS version
  • App version and crashes
  • General usage patterns (features used, session duration)
  • Region/country (approximate location, not precise)

This data is anonymized and aggregated by Apple. We cannot identify individual users from this data.

3.3 Push Notification Tokens

If you enable notifications, Apple generates a push notification token to deliver reminders for your tasks. This token is managed by Apple's Push Notification Service and is not stored or accessed by us.

4. What We Do NOT Collect

  • No account information (no email, username, or password required)
  • No precise location data
  • No personal identifiers (IDFA tracking is disabled)
  • No contact information
  • No device identifiers for tracking purposes
  • No browsing history or app usage outside Fecunda
  • No photos, camera, or microphone access

5. How We Use Data

We use the limited data we collect only for:

  • App Improvement: Understanding usage patterns to improve features and performance
  • Bug Fixes: Identifying and fixing crashes or technical issues through Apple Analytics
  • Notifications: Delivering task reminders you schedule (processed locally on your device)

We do not:

  • Sell or share your data with third parties
  • Use your data for advertising or marketing
  • Track you across other apps or websites
  • Create user profiles

6. Data Storage and Security

6.1 Local Storage

All your task data is stored locally on your device using Apple's secure storage frameworks. Your data remains on your device and is protected by your device's passcode and encryption.

6.2 No Cloud Storage

Fecunda currently does not offer cloud backup or sync features. If you delete the app or lose your device, your task data cannot be recovered. We recommend using your device's regular backup system (iCloud backup) to protect your data.

6.3 Security Measures

  • Data is stored using iOS secure storage APIs
  • No data transmission to external servers
  • App follows Apple's security best practices
  • Regular security updates through App Store

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 Apple Analytics

We use Apple's built-in analytics service, which is privacy-focused and compliant with GDPR. Apple anonymizes and aggregates all analytics data. You can opt out of analytics at any time through:

Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Share iPhone Analytics (disable this option)

7.2 Apple Push Notification Service

For task reminders, we use Apple's native push notification system. Notifications are generated and delivered by Apple. We do not store or access notification content.

8. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR)

Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the following rights:

8.1 Right to Access

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you already have full access to it within the app.

8.2 Right to Erasure

You can delete all your data at any time by:

  • Deleting individual tasks within the app
  • Deleting the entire app from your device (this removes all data permanently)

8.3 Right to Data Portability

Currently, Fecunda does not offer data export features. This functionality may be added in future updates.

8.4 Right to Object

You can opt out of analytics collection through your device's iOS settings (see Section 7.1).

8.5 Right to Lodge a Complaint

9. Children's Privacy

Fecunda does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. Since the app stores all data locally and does not require account creation, it is safe for users of all ages.

The app is rated 4+ on the App Store, meaning it contains no objectionable content.

10. Data Retention

  • Task Data: Retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app
  • Analytics Data: Retained by Apple according to their privacy policy (typically 18-24 months, anonymized)
  • Notification Tokens: Managed by Apple and automatically expire if you uninstall the app

11. International Data Transfers

Since Fecunda stores all data locally on your device, there are no international data transfers. The only exception is anonymized analytics data sent to Apple (which complies with GDPR data transfer requirements).

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our app or legal requirements. If we add features that collect more data (such as accounts or cloud sync), we will:

  • Update this policy with clear notice
  • Notify users through the app
  • Request your consent for any significant changes

The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when changes were made.

13. Future Features

We may add the following features in future updates, which would require updates to this Privacy Policy:
